ok i just cut off alot of my lonng hair. it was all dead and now its up to my shoulders. i died it dark brown about a month and a half ago. almost 2 months. its really healthy now, i have it black underneith also. i just bought a hair highlighting kit today with the cap you put on your head to pull out peices of hair u want done. i want to highlight it blonde but only on the top layer today. im not doing anything else but the top and im doing almost like frosting. im also doing this because my roots are showing and i dont want to dye all my hair again. should it be fine though?
any advice??

Dying your hair and putting in highlights kills it so don't do it!
