Highlight on hair?

My daughter has always asked me about getting highlights. So now as an early christmas present I am letting her. What color do you think she should get? I don't want to make her look bad by choosing the wrong color. She has all black silky and straight long hair. What color?

please don't let her do it black hair is so beautiful why not buy her some clip in extensions from most salons or ebay they do them in all colours...

I asked the stylist and she told me.Also it depends on what color you let her have..just think I got mine almost 1 year ago so she will want a color she will want for a LONG time

lots of colors look good with black but if you want it a natural color i would go with the red

the color would depend on wat she wants or her personality. it also can depend on the skin color, hair style, etc, so go on different sites and try to pick from there.

u could try auburn highlights i guess. a light copper or red could also work. again, it depends. sometimes getting the tips of hair looks great to if ur daughter is interested :)

if she likes the color red then you can try puttin a really nice red but not too much because then it will make all her natural hair hair not show anymore or you can use a light color that might go well with her hair just remember to not put too much
