I got my hair highlighted and it turned orange my natural hair color is like medium brown if i dyed my hair medium-dark brown would it take the yellowish orange away? or i should i use l'oreal haircolor remover? would that take away the color which product would be better?

Use a loreal natural match warm medium brown color. It will have golden tones. Don't buy an ash color. You hair will turn green!

The L'Oreal Hair Color Remover isn't just going to take away the wrong color, it's a form of bleach that will strip all color from the hair - including your natural color. I found this out the hard way. It'd be better to just dye it back the medium brown color, because when you "layer" it on top of the highlights, it'll still be a bit brighter than your non-highlighted hair.

the sun might have turned it oange but also if u hav brown hair and u tried to dye in blonde, that might be the reason.

Call the company that made the highlight coloring. They usually have info that will help you better and faster than most of us can. I had the same issue if it helps and I wish I had called them - I'm still having to dye my hair to cover the orange - that was 2 years ago. It's almost all grown out now.

Well it all depends. I once got my hair colored at a salon and i wanted it to be a reddish brown color well what they did was basically died my hair orange and said after about 7 washes it would be the color i had asked for. and it would stay that way. and it worked (thank god) but if you did it your self then i would probably suggest using the haircolor remover.

P.S. if you have dark brown hair than why is your avatar a blonde?

if your hair has been dyed before it happens like that as a reaction to the dye and should fade within 2-3 weeks if it hasnt been dyed wait a few days if it doesnt fade go to a nearby salon

I would go with a Dark Brown. It will get rid of the orange tint and after a couple of washes it will lighten up to your natural color. Make sure to use a semi-permanent (its better on the hair, since you just bleached it). What must have happended is that you didn't leave the bleach on long enough. Next time head to the salon to get those good ole' highlights.

I would call a salon supply store an ask them...not a salon they just say come in an we'll see what we can do...I trust the girls/guys at the supply store...talk to them.

Dont do the colour remover. Go to Sallys and ask for a toner and apply it ONLY to the orange. I had the same prob.

You can't use a hair color remover if you went lighter. Your hair turned orange because the highliter had the wrong undertones.Go to Sally's Beautiful Supply they have dies with blue,purple,amber and all kinds of other undertones.Trust me same thing happened to me and Sally's helped big time,they are licensed beauticians.
