I just highlighted my hair and some is too light!?

I used a highlighting kit that you dye it all over one color then add highlights after, now the front is way lighter than the back, can i get another kit and rehighlight the back parts over?

I have brown hair

This can be approached in two ways.....

First of all, everytime you change your hair, looking in the mirror shocks you for the first couple weeks. A very good rule of thumb is to give 2 weeks, if you still feel the same way then I would simply go to Sallys, Pick up Loreal Color Charms, demi permanent so it eventually washes out naturally. Simply select one shade above desired results, don't forget its developer and select the hair you wish to tone down in the same way you got it that way.....

Second, Although different, highlights around the face are always done heavier that the back. Try it out and live with it, you may be suprised, it won't be there forever and over time you can modify your technique to your liking....

Good luck.......

well you could try that, i dont think you should highlight your hair by yourself. try get another person to do it for you.

maybe this time you should go to the salon and let them rehighlight your hair. then try again later when the highlights start coming off.

They do have such a thing as lowlights. They are usually used at a professonial salon after your higlights have faded out or you want to tame some of your highlights.

The case sounds to me that you are going to need lowlights. You don't want to mess around too much with the highlights by highlighting it again or dying it.

You can put a rinse in it to camoflauge it for the moment. The rinse isn't a dye, it's a deposit, so it won't strip your hair and damage it any further. It is not a permanent color, though, so it won't be a permanent solution.
