im getting my hair highlighted, right now its dark blonde. what shade of blonde will go best with it?

I would just go with highlights that are slightly lighter than your natural color. That way it wont look too fake, but still give it a touch-up.

I would suggest you get that little color sample, the one with little strands of hair and put it against your hair. That way you can get a better view of what results to expect.

With Dirty Blonde hair, I'd suggest getting light blonde highlights.

Or, if you're looking for something different, a combination of light blonde highlights and brown would create a nice look.
