I've heard coloring ur hair is really bad for it, so is there a way to make ur hair look highlighted w/o using chemical? Like a product that u can put in, in the morning and take it out later? If so where can I find it?

ok dont use sun in! it is the worst thing for your hair... as is box color from the store. and no there isn't anything that you can put in and rinse out later that day... without it looking fake. coloring your hair isn't that bad. IF you go to a professional and use professional products and do your part to take care of your hair. you should just go get subtle natural looking highlights... a sem-permanent color wont make your hair lighter, you can only go darker with that because it will eventually fade out. and adding highlights lightens the hair and that will not fade out... it will grow out. just try it... i'm sure you will like it... it's always fun!

There is a spray in thing. I forgot what it was called. But you spray it in, and go out in the sun. Then, your natural highlights come out... I don't remember the name, but it's at drugstores.
Yeah, it's called Sun In.

There are shampoos and conditoners that bring out the natural highlights in your hair. John Freida shampoos and conditioners are good examples. They make different ones for your hair shade. You can get these at your local wal-mart or drug store!

If you have noticed the tip of your hair is lighter than the one bearly growing and that is caused by sun so just try to get some of it in the sun!

I have seen the brush on hi-liter stuff at Sally's, but I would venture to say that it looks fake and cheap. They do have glazes that will deposit color or add serious sheen if you use the clear one in the Jazzing brand.

There is a product called Sun In. You put spray it in your hair, and go out in the sun. The sun naturally lightens your hair. This product just helps it along a little faster.

Try putting lemon juice in your hair next time you go out in the sun. Apply the juice throughout your hair in the places you want it to be highlighted. This may not work if you have really dark hair, though.

You can use the spray but they contain little chemical that actually does not damage your hair. You can also put oil on your hair and leave it on the sun so the colors can change itself but I do not highly reccomend that.
